Dr. Mark D. Parisi
Training and Credentials
Dr. Parisi is licensed as a psychologist in both Illinois and Florida.
He completed his undergradutate training at Loyola Univeristy in
Chicago and his Master's Degree in Clinical
Psychology from Roosevelt University.
He went on to earn a second Master's Degree
in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology and
a Doctorate Degree in Clinical
Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Dr. Parisi has been a regional consultant to the Huntsville, Alabama,
Headstart program and served as Chair for
the Health and Human Services Committee of the
Huntsville Council of PTAs.
He has also been a disability evaluator and a tireless advocate for high-quality eldercare in the states of Alabama and Illinois.
Dr. Parisi is certified as a Professional Mediator and offers divorce, family, and business mediation services.
He has specialized training in treating Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD), stress-related disorders, disruptive behavior in children,
adolescents, adults, and seniors, chronic pain, trauma, disorders of
aging and dealing with problems in the workplace.
He is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the
Division of Adult Development and Aging (APA-Division
20), the Society of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (APA-Division
54) and the Association for Conflict Resolution (ACR).
